Adoption Process

If you are interested in adopting a kitten from Dragonglass Cattery, the first step is to complete our Kitten Application.

Once your application is submitted, I will personally review it and reach out as soon as possible. If your application is approved, you will be invited to join our private Dragonglass Facebook group, where you’ll gain exclusive access to:

Planned breedings and pregnancy updates
Photos and videos of current and past kittens
Behind-the-scenes insights into our cattery
Important announcements and litter availability

Kitten Application

Waitlist Details

We offer two waitlist options:

•Application-Only Waitlist

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and placed on our standard waitlist.

•Exclusive First-Pick Waitlist

Families who complete an application and place a $100 non-refundable exclusivity waitlist deposit receive first pick of available kittens within their desired litter, in the order exclusivity deposits are received.

Kitten colors and sexes are typically identified between 1–6 weeks of age. Once confirmed, I will send you:
- The Kitten Purchase Agreement
- The Spay/Neuter Contract
After reviewing and signing the contracts, you may place your $300 non-refundable reservation deposit to secure your kitten for those who placed a $100 waitlist fee, and $400 non refundable reservation deposit for those on the standard waitlist.

Ongoing Updates

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive multiple updates each week, including photos, developmental milestones, and fun moments from your kitten’s early life.

Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12 - 14 weeks of age, healthy, well-socialized, and prepared for a smooth transition.

Breeding Rights

Looking to Strengthen Your Program?

We are not opposed to selling breeding rights; however, it is not a practice we engage in routinely. Our foremost priority is ensuring that our lineage continues with integrity long into the future. To that end, we conduct comprehensive background checks, thoroughly review all submitted information, and carefully assess whether placement with a breeder is in the best interest of each kitten.
